Beth Boogholt has been a pillar in the ABA community across Michigan for the last decade, working at a children’s hospital, university, school, local government, and a private ABA practice. Boogholt says that “Her passion lies in helping families grow together in a team environment with the client and family at the center of the treatment.” Her journey has led her to start her own practice with Hi-5 ABA in Grand Rapids. She began in the field of Behavior Analysis in 2001 as an undergraduate student at Western Michigan University. This is where she developed her passion for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and the dissemination of its tools to clients, parents, staff, educators, and the greater community. This passion continued on to graduate school at Florida Institute of Technology where she earned a Master of Science in ABA and subsequently became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in 2006. After her move back to Michigan, she earned a Behavior Analyst License and a limited licensure in Psychology.
It is her belief that “no goals, no matter how
small or large, can be achieved without a team-based approach, this is a vital component to success.” Boogholt desires to coach and mentor RBTs, BCaBAs, and those seeking BCBA certifications. Her practice is dedicated to serving the needs in her community as a team–parent, child, and provider.
