Empowering Children with Autism Through ABA Therapy
At Hi-5 ABA, we are dedicated to helping children with autism unlock their full potential. Our ABA therapy programs are specifically designed to provide meaningful benefits and foster development in a supportive environment. From the initial Orientation to Services, where clients and caregivers are introduced to our skilled Behavior Technicians, to the personalized care plans tailored to each child’s needs, we ensure a data-driven and nurturing approach to autism therapy.
Hi-5 ABA Therapy Programs
At Hi-5 ABA, our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) utilize a comprehensive range of assessment methods that adhere to industry standards. Our services include functional assessment interviews, VB-MAPP, PEAK, and ABLLS, allowing us to thoroughly evaluate each client’s learning abilities, communication skills, developmental progress, and motor skills. Depending on the client's needs, our analysts may implement Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Natural Environment Training (NET), or a blend of both. Each treatment plan crafted by our BCBAs sets clear, measurable behavior goals and outlines the strategies to achieve them.

Step-by-Step Process of Our In-Home ABA Services
The journey with Hi-5 ABA begins following an autism diagnosis, although certain other conditions may also qualify for ABA therapy depending on insurance coverage. Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) start with an Initial Assessment attended by both the client and a caregiver. The BCBA crafts a preliminary treatment plan which is then forwarded to the child’s physician for approval.
Once approved, the BCBA seeks authorization from the insurance provider, generally valid for six months. With insurance authorization in place, we schedule and conduct an Orientation to Services for the client and their caregivers. During this orientation, clients may also meet their assigned Behavior Technician(s).
A typical schedule involves 10-40 hours per week of therapy, where Behavior Technicians execute the treatment plan, record data, and support the client's progress. BCBAs oversee these sessions periodically, both in-person and through video-conference, to monitor Technician performance, assess client advancement, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Duration of ABA Therapy Services
The duration of ABA therapy services at Hi-5 ABA varies based on the individual child’s needs. Some children may reach their behavioral goals and complete therapy in as little as three months, while others may benefit from ongoing ABA services throughout their childhood. Factors influencing the length of services include the severity of developmental disorders, life circumstances, and insurance authorizations. Typically, we gradually reduce services before they are completely discontinued to ensure a smooth transition.
Quality of Services
Our BCBAs lead teams of Behavior Technicians who deliver the majority of direct services. Each Hi-5 ABA Behavior Technician undergoes continuous training and receives tailored supervision and guidance. This approach ensures we provide consistent, high-quality care that meets the specific needs of each client and their family.
